Erasmus+ at SOML
Our schools learn across Europe. On this platform we share what we do and what it delivers — from international mobility to innovative partnerships in primary, secondary and vocational education.
Three programmes
SOML uses Erasmus+ structurally across three lines — for mobility and for developing education together.
KA1 - Mobility (school education)
Learning on the move. SOML is accredited as a mobility consortium coordinator (KA121-SCH). Teachers, school leaders and pupils learn abroad through job shadowing, courses and exchanges.
- Job shadowing at European partner schools
- Courses for teachers and leadership
- Pupil mobility & exchange
- Structural funding through accreditation
Under our KA121-SCH accreditation we fund, on a structural basis: job shadowing (2–60 days), training courses (2–10 days), teaching assignments, group and individual pupil mobility (2–365 days), invited experts and preparatory visits. Every mobility has a learning goal (Learning Agreement) and recognition via Europass.
KA220-VET - Vocational education
Cooperation partnerships in Vocational Education & Training. With European partners we work on entrepreneurship and green and digital skills for tomorrow's labour market.
- Entrepreneurship & innovation in VET
- Green and digital skills
- Linking education and the labour market
- Joint products with EU partners
KA220-VET are cooperation partnerships of at least three organisations from three programme countries, working together on innovation for 1–3 years. The result: freely available outputs - courses, toolkits, platforms - usable across vocational education.
KA220-SCH - School partnerships
Innovating together in primary and secondary education. In KA2 partnerships we develop new teaching methods with schools across Europe around AI, STEM, sustainability and digital citizenship.
- Innovative teaching methods & materials
- AI, STEM, sustainability & citizenship
- International school development
- Shareable, openly available results
In KA2 partnerships (KA220-SCH, and small-scale KA210) schools jointly develop new teaching methods and materials, test them in practice and share the results openly with other schools across Europe.

SOML and its schools
Stichting Onderwijs Midden-Limburg (SOML) is the lead applicant and accredited as a mobility consortium coordinator (KA121-SCH). BC Broekhin and Connect College also hold their own KA1 school-education accreditation.
KA1 mobility runs through the accredited SOML schools: staff mobility (job shadowing, courses) is open to employees of all SOML schools; pupil mobility runs through the consortium schools.
