From 2 to 6 June 2025 the first international learning, teaching and training activity (LTTA) of FoodHeroes took place in the Netherlands, with SOML hosting in Roermond.
For a whole week, students and teachers from the five partner countries worked together on sustainability and food waste. They got hands-on in the kitchen, compared eating habits from their own countries and devised solutions to tackle waste together.
Alongside the content programme there was plenty of room for intercultural encounter and friendship — one of the core values of Erasmus+.
