At the heart of GIVET-SMART is Green Industry 4.0: the combination of smart, connected technology and green competences. Students learn to work with sensors, data and IoT applications and link that knowledge to sustainable production.
The project targets both students and teachers. Through staff training on Industry 4.0 and IoT, we strengthen the whole teaching practice, not just individual lessons.
This grows the craftsmanship that a sustainable European manufacturing industry sorely needs.
