With a closing meeting in Aveiro, Portugal, the Erasmus+ project VIRAL came to an end. Partners looked back on the results and discussed how the work built up can be continued and strengthened.
The project delivered concrete products, including a guide to behaviour change with a practical teacher’s manual, a handbook of monitoring and evaluation tools, and environmental action plans developed by three schools. Together with schools from Spain and Portugal, SOML drew up its own Environmental Action Plan.
The results give secondary-school teachers useful means to embed environmental education across the curriculum.
