From 20 to 24 October 2025 students and teachers travelled to Labin in Croatia for the second FoodHeroes learning activity, hosted by partner school Srednja škola Mate Blažine Labin.
The week revolved around the Waste to Taste approach: turning leftover streams into something tasty and valuable. Students cooked together, presented their dishes and learned from each other’s culinary cultures.
These international encounters strengthen not only students’ knowledge of sustainability, but also their self-confidence, language skills and European outlook.
