As the Dutch partner, SOML contributes actively to ELecoTeam. In the work meetings in Akureyri and Istanbul, among others, our teachers and students brought in knowledge about sustainable electrical engineering and exchanged experiences with fellow schools.
Each meeting followed a fixed format: the host school presented the national education system, followed by workshops for international student teams. In this way young people learn not only technology, but also how to collaborate in a European context.
Sustainability thus becomes a natural part of the profession.
