In November 2020 the Erasmus+ project PLASTEAM started, with AGORA Niekée as coordinator on behalf of SOML. The project links STEAM education to sustainability and helps primary schools to become plastic-free step by step.
Eight partners from five countries work together: AGORA Niekée and NEMO Science Museum (Netherlands), CNPCD and Școala Gimnazială Nr. 10 (Romania), EFFEBI Association (Italy), EuroDimensions (Malta) and MIO-ECSDE with Themistoklis S.A. (Greece).
The ambition is clear: to make students aware of their plastic use through science, technology, art and mathematics, and to let them devise solutions themselves.
