In work package 2, Digitrainer 4.0 investigated how digitally skilled teachers and trainers in Europe feel — and what they need. In total, 191 teachers, trainers and mentors from the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Malta and Germany contributed through surveys and interviews.
The findings are gathered in national reports, a European summary and a database of good practices, tools and teaching methods. There proved to be a strong need for knowledge about AI, collaboration platforms, accessibility and learning analytics, among other topics.
This field research forms the backbone of the project: the findings directly shape the design of the Digitrainer training programme.
