To develop the EdutainSTEM competence framework, the partners spoke with education professionals. Through interviews and focus groups, they mapped the challenges and learning needs in the various partner countries.
This input forms the basis of a competence matrix that links STEAM subjects to the social and emotional competences students develop alongside them. In this way the framework is firmly anchored in everyday teaching practice.
The insights from the Netherlands, Portugal, Hungary, Italy and Cyprus ensure that the framework is usable in very different classrooms.
