At the heart of the project is the Pedagogical Model for Innovative STEM Learning and Teaching. This model places the student as owner of their own learning process, while the teacher shifts to a role as coach and guide.
The model builds on five characteristics: learning that is complex, process-oriented, holistic, practical and social. It brings together knowledge, skills and competences through cycles of reflection and repeated practice, so that students can apply what they have learned in new situations.
A fine element is the connection between STEM and society, which shows how these subjects relate to real societal issues.
