On 25 February 2025 the consortium organised a virtual GreenComp Information Day. During this online meeting, the partners explained how the European GreenComp framework helps schools to give sustainability a firm place in education.
The GreenComp framework names competences around systems thinking, critical thinking and acting for sustainability, among others. These competences form the guideline for the teaching materials being developed within the project.
For SOML, the information day was a fine opportunity to introduce fellow teachers to climate adaptation as an educational theme. The interest shows how much this topic resonates in secondary education.
