The Erasmus+ project EdutainSTEM is taking an important step: its educational app is entering the testing phase. EdutainSTEM combines STEM and STEAM education with social-emotional learning for pupils up to around 14 years old.
The app has two parts: a web environment for the teacher, to manage lessons and groups, and an app for pupils, to take part in the lessons. With AI support, the app helps to generate lesson content and guides pupils step by step, in line with European rules on transparency and responsible AI.
Over the coming weeks the partner schools are testing both the teacher side and the pupil app with their own lesson material, so that the final improvements are ready in time for the new school year.
What is coming next: from September pupils at the partner schools will validate the app in practice, in the autumn national information days and STEAM competitions will follow, and in January the project will close with a final conference.
