At the heart of IDEALS is the question of how we prepare young people for a diverse, democratic society. The project focuses on intercultural dialogue, social cohesion and active citizenship, with inclusion as a common thread through all activities.
Teachers from the five partner countries shared experiences about how they handle differences in the classroom and how to make democratic values tangible. That exchange forms the basis for the joint teaching materials.
In this way IDEALS connects theory and practice into usable tools for the classroom.
