The Erasmus+ project BAFOS (Boosting school Awareness about FOod loSs) has officially started. Under the coordination of SOML, seven partners from five countries join forces to make students aware of food waste at school and at home.
The idea is as simple as it is powerful: young people investigate the causes and consequences of food waste themselves and learn about it in a playful way through educational games. During the kick-off, the partners discussed the planning, the division of roles and the first steps towards research and teaching materials.
With this project we want to give sustainability a firm place in education. We will keep you posted on the meetings and results.
